MEMORIALS

November 14, 2018, Grant County Community Foundation established “The Memorial Fund.” This is an unrestricted fund to accept memorial gifts that can benefit Grant County’s greatest needs.

Gifts to memorialize or to honor a loved one is a way to make an impact that can last for generations to come, while at the same time be personally satisfying.

In addition to outright gifts of cash, memorial giving can be accomplished with a bequest in a will, living trust, or as a beneficiary designation of a financial account. Many people find such a gift to be a satisfying and meaningful way to memorialize and honor their family or loved one. In addition, families can make arrangements with the Grant County Community Foundation to establish and place gifts into a donor-advised fund that honors the family and its ties to the community. In this way, the family can participate in the charitable gifting decisions and the family name can remain alive for future generations as annual gifts are made from that account.

Memorial gifts are accepted in any amount to any of the existing funds in the Grant County Community Foundation.
