HOW TO GIVE

Taking the time to make decisions about how to give a meaningful charitable gift that will make a lasting impression will lead your clients to experience more fully the joy of giving. Our goal is to lead you through the steps of determining what assets your client can give and the most appropriate way for your client to make a gift considering their circumstances. There are many types of assets your client may own that could be given as charitable gifts to a community or charitable organization.

WAYS TO GIVE

There are a variety of ways to make a meaningful charitable gift. The way your client chooses to make a gift depends upon their current circumstances.

LEGACY SOCIETY

Become part of the Grant County Community Foundation Legacy Society and leave a lasting impression on the lives that follow.

Be remembered for your kindness

Whether you think of yourself as rich or poor or somewhere in between, your gift to your community will make a lasting impression. The “Good Life” we cherish in Kansas is worth preserving and passing on to the next generation.

Think of your community as family

Here in Kansas we are proud of our communities. Your planned gift continues that tradition of investing in the future. You can provide for both your family and your community. There are also gifts that have immediate tax benefits and ensure that you or a loved one receives income payments for life, with the promise of a future charitable gift.

Create your personal Legacy

The Grant County Community Foundation helps people plan charitable gifts to their community and favorite organizations. Together we are “endowing” the future. An endowment is a permanent charitable fund whose assets are invested to generate an ongoing source of income year after year. That means your gift, and your legacy, will last for generations.
